Good game. Went on y own on Easter Friday as had not alot else to do and it was only 25 minutes down the road. Arrived just before kickoff after parking up on a road really near to the ground. £9.50 to get which wasn't too bad. A nice little stadium, tidy and respectable given the level. Stood fairly close to the dug outs to watch and witnessed a flying start by Billericay who still had playoff aspirations coming into the game. They took the lead very early on and hit the bar with a lob shortly afterwards. Croydon came more into the game and got a deserved equaliser. Was a baking hot day and managed to find some shade to stand in at half time. The second half wasn't as good with both sides playing long ball. Billericay stuck both centre halfs up front for the final 25 or so minutes and missed several chances. Knowing they probably had to win the home side gave it everything but got caught on the break by Croydon with a chance that was well taken. Alot of stoppages towards the end of the game with players faining injury so 5 minutes stoppage time that went by without Billericay managing to force the equaliser. All in all a good game and a nice little trip for a friday afternoon in the sun.
