After an absence of seventeen years, football returned to the former home of Swansea City on May 21 2022. The new football pitch forms part of a £95000 multi-use games area that has been installed by Swansea Council on the exact spot where the old ground once stood. A blue plaque now marks this heritage site. The game I saw was more like a lads kick about in the enclosed basketball area.
