| Ticket price £20.00 x 2 = £40.00 (522 miles round trip at about 5 hours driving each way. E''s third 92 game so made a weekend of it with a night in Plymouth and two nights in Torquay and an excellent time was had although the weather for the game was glorious, for Torquay it was horrendous!
Massive free car park at the ground, great social club (in a marquee behind one of the stands) and although the tickets were a fiver each to get in it did get you a pastie and pint of cider, superb! They had decent entertainment also.
The ground was almost modern, with three sides making up a bowl effect with the fourth side (main Grandstand) looking very old/forlorn and out of place. The seats were fine with ample leg room/atmosphere superb/amusing mascot/coffee very hot!
Although the game finished 2-1 to Plymouth I managed to miss all three goals- the first was when I went for a comfort break and Crawley''s equaliser and Plymouth'' winner being scored as we were making our way out of the car park!!)
