An in form Scunthorpe were disappointing against a Bees team who again didn't quite click but came away with the points.
Donaldson (compassionate) and Forshaw (suspended) were missing. Logan returned to RB, both Saunders & Forrester were given starts out wide, Reeves replaced Forshaw but more centrally with Trotta paired with BWP.
A good first half followed by a less inspiring second although I think we deserved the points overall.
Trotta worked harder than recent games and continued to be our only striker with a shoot on sight policy.
BWP continued to work harder than I thought he would.
The game turned on a couple of subs. Dallas replaced Saunders and Adeyemi for Reeves made the difference. Dallas really upped the tempo and had the Scunthorpe defence running scared with his direct running. He played an important part in the build up to the only goal, the ball finding Trotta in the box who then, unintentionally, laid it into the path of Adeyemi who finished with composure from around 14 yards out.
Bees up to fourth.
