Game 35 took us to Accrington. Alec drove to this one and we left home at 10am. On the approach to Accrington there had been an accident on the other side of the motorway where one car was on its side. Today was really cold and we were layered up. As we arrived early we went to the ground first to collect our tickets and take our photos. We then parked up around the corner from the ground and walked in to town. Probably wished we hadn''t bothered. Accrington town centre doesn''t have much to offer. Walked back towards the ground and went in to the Grey Horse pub. Had a couple of pints here whilst watching the live sky game. On walking to the ground we had fish and chips which were really nice. The game itself was another dull one. Gillingham took the lead in the first half with Accrington equalising in the 2nd half with a James Beattie penalty.
